With technology constantly changing and expanding, there is always a demand for smart, capable, and adaptable IT professionals. George Brown’s School of Computer Technology combines the technical and teamwork skills you’ll need to meet that demand.
We provide our students with access to state-of-the-art equipment and expert faculty who bring their workplace experience to the classroom, striking the right balance between the theory and technical skills.
Intending to give back to the community and practice their programming skills, students from the Computer Programming Analyst Program (T-127) developed Tutoring Management System (TMS). TMS helps community centres and non-profit organizations manage and improve the productivity of their tutoring programs. The students partnered with the Working Women Community Centre, which has been providing valuable information for the system requirements and analysis phases. The students’ main goal is to make the TMS available to the community centre at a zero cost.
